Club Fees:

There is a one time Initiation Fee of $300.00. There are NO fees for use of the club aircraft or equipment!

Monthly Dues:

Dues are $25.00/month.  Members that own a glider are eligible for reduced dues of only $12.50/month, subject to certain conditions.  The extremely low dues are possible only because members actively participate in club meetings, projects and maintenance.  Prospective members should be aware that they will be expected to do their share.  AVSC is not a FBO or rental agency!

SSA Membership:

All AVSC members are required to join and maintain membership in the Soaring Society of America at an annual cost of $64.00 per year.  The SSA membership includes a monthly subscription to Soaring Magazine.

Flight Instruction:

Flight instruction may be scheduled with an Instructor prior to the arrival at the airfield.  Any instruction fees are paid by the student directly to the instructor.  AVSC does not receive any money for flight instruction.  Any tow fees, or  other costs are also the responsibility of the student.

Towing Fees:

Shearline Aero provides all aero tows at Krey Field.  All pilots pay for their own tows directly to Shearline Aero prior to takeoff.  Rates are extremely low; 1500 ft. = $25.00,  plus $2.00 for each 100 ft. of additional altitude. A typical tow is only 1800 ft.  Two Panee  tow planes assure reliable towing service year round.
